Instrumentalist (f. 3, Bernstein – Resurge by Seeking the Gold) fought out another victory yesterday at Churchill Downs. Going 5 furlongs on the turf, the talented filly took over the lead in the stretch and held on gamely to win the Allowance by half a length. Castleton Lyons is the owner and breeder of Instrumentalist, and she is trained by Tom Drury.
