Green Lyons (IRE) (f. 4, Green Desert – Spinnette by Spinning World) earned more black type for her family Friday in the CTT and Thoroughbred Owners of California Handicap at Del Mar. Going a mile and 3/8ths on the turf, the filly ran relaxed through the early stages of the race saving ground, but was caught behind traffic in the stretch and was unlucky in her final push towards the finish. Green Lyons is owned and bred by Castleton Lyons Farm and trained by Neil Drysdale.
