Tarrip (f. 4, Green Desert – Spinnette by Spinning World) prevailed in her American debut in a Maiden Special Weight at Tampa Bay Downs. Going 1 mile on the turf, the filly expertly weaved her way through traffic in the stretch to out duel the leader and win by a neck. Her only previous start was 11 months prior at Leopardstown, but the filly didn’t miss a beat to score her maiden for trainer Christophe Clement. Tarrip is out of the multiple graded stakes placed SPINNETTE (IRE) and is a full sister to graded stakes placed GREEN LYONS.
