Propelleroneway (f. 2 Malibu Moon – Catch the Blue Hat by Storm Cat) broke her maiden at Fair Grounds yesterday in a 1 mile maiden special weight. With two encouraging runs behind her, a 4th at Arlington and a 3rd at Keeneland, the fily entered the race looking like she was improving all the time. So it proved under pilot Shaun Bridgmohan as Propelleroneway saved ground towards the rear for much of the race before being unleashed five wide into the stretch to win going away by 1 3/4 lengths. Trainer Andrew McKeever joined Bridgmohan in saying afterwards that the daughter of Malibu Moon had done everything right for this race and will improve even more for her next engagement which will once again be at the Fair Grounds.
